# NeedleBay > NeedleBay is a small pocket case for insulin pen needles, made in the UK. It holds four pen needles, each in its own bay with a see-through lid. Each used needle goes back into its bay, so one look, or a feel, tells you which insulin doses have been taken and which are ready to take. Did I take my insulin? One look tells you. No app, no batteries, nothing to charge. It helps prevent missed doses and double doses, there is no need to touch the needle, and up to four used needles stay locked inside until you can drop them into a sharps bin, the yellow box for used needles. NeedleBay is for people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes who inject insulin with a pen. It also holds the screw-on pen needles that GLP-1 and weight-loss injection pens use; people who take both keep one NeedleBay for each pen. It works with any insulin pen, because it holds the needles rather than the pen. It works with Mounjaro KwikPen, Ozempic, Wegovy FlexTouch, Saxenda, Victoza, Xultophy and Suliqua, which all take screw-on pen needles. It is not needed for Trulicity or the Wegovy 7.2 mg single-dose pen, which have the needle built in. It especially helps people with poor eyesight, people with reduced dexterity, like stiff or shaky hands, parents of children with diabetes, school staff and carers. It fits most prescribed pen needles, including BD Micro-Fine, NovoFine, mylife and GlucoRx. If you're not sure about a brand, email info@needlebay.com. What NeedleBay does: 1. Holds four needles ready to use. Each new needle waits in its own bay, with its seal still on. 2. Keeps your fingers away from the needle. You screw your pen onto the needle while it sits in its bay, and unscrew it back into the same bay after your injection. 3. Shows which doses have been taken and which are ready to take. A used needle goes back in its bay, so one look tells you. 4. Locks used needles away. Up to four stay safely inside, in your pocket or bag, until you get to a sharps bin. How it works: - Flip open the lids and pop in four new pen needles, still sealed. A click-lock holds them in place. - Hold the NeedleBay in your palm, peel off the needle seal, and screw your pen in to collect the needle. Inject. Screw the pen back into the same bay and unscrew: the used needle stays behind. There is no tiny needle to grip at any step. - A used needle has no seal, so used and new bays can be told apart by sight or by touch. Lids click shut and lift tabs can be found by feel. - To empty: open the lids over a sharps bin, release the click-lock, and the used needles drop straight out without being touched. - Cleaning: warm soapy water or the dishwasher. Grey base, see-through green lids, pocket-sized. What it does not do: - It shows which doses have been taken, not the time of a dose or the number of units. It is not a timer, an alarm, an app, a clinic record or a medical treatment. - It holds four needles, so on more than four injections a day you'd use two. Four bays fit a typical four-injection day: breakfast, lunch, evening meal and a bedtime long-acting dose. On fewer injections the same four bays last longer. - It keeps needles tidy. It does not keep insulin or a pen cool. Words to use: NeedleBay is a "case" with four "bays". Older material from earlier versions called them "pods"; the current product is simply the NeedleBay.
